X-ray protective curtains are a specialized product of individual manufacture. They are used mainly in cases where it is necessary to combine effective X-ray protection with an aesthetic appearance of the room or to ensure the possibility of quick opening and closing of the protective opening.
For the manufacture of X-ray protective curtains, the following data must be provided:
the dimensions of the window or door opening;
the required lead equivalent of protection (Pb, mm).
There are no standard sizes and standard levels of protection for X-ray protective curtains. Each product is manufactured individually according to the parameters of the room and radiation protection requirements.
The required lead equivalent is determined depending on:
the power of the X-ray equipment;
the direction and radius of propagation of the ionizing radiation beam;
the distance from the radiation source to the curtain;
the angle of incidence of radiation.
That is why each X-ray protective curtain is an individual product and does not have universal parameters.
We manufacture X-ray protective curtains according to individual customer sizes with lead equivalent from Pb 0.25 mm to Pb 2.00 mm. High-quality leaded vinyl with the appropriate level of X-ray protection is used for production.
Standard equipment
sliding system (cornice);
X-ray protective curtains made of leaded vinyl;
fastening system (velcro or hooks - depending on the model).
Important! For the correct operation of the sliding system, the wall surface above the window or door opening must be flat.
Documentation
A set of permitting documentation is provided for each product. The documents indicate the individual dimensions of the X-ray protective curtain and its lead equivalent (Pb), which confirms the product's compliance with the established requirements for X-ray protection.
